Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress famous for her performance in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also critically acclaimed. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects over the years. Some of these include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek movie The Dust of Time, and French historic miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she has been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in at the Cannes Film Festival.
